      Hello,

      I have a duet3 and a panelDue. I know that the panelDUE inboard sd card reader is not supported. However I have read that you can connect an external sd reader connected to the duet3 board.

      Could you guide me throw the connection and configuration process?

      Thanks for your time 🙂

        @diego said in Duet3 , panelDUE and panelDue inboard sdCard:

        where did you read that?

        because the duet 3 does not have firmware support for that.

          Hello,

          If you check this post https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/14906/any-timeline-on-having-sd-card-functionality-on-panel-due-duet-3

          You could read :

          For those running Duet 3 in standalone mode, it would be possible to support either the PanelDue SD card or a standalone SD card socket connected to the daughter board connector of the Duet 3. However, we envisage that most users wanting to use removable storage on Duet 3 (an unusual thing to do IMO when you have a web interface) will choose to use a USB stick plugged into the RPi; because USB sticks are nicer to handle, and unlike SD cards they are designed to handle many repeated removals and insertions.

          I don't know if this means that this is possible and not implemented or already implemented but without sd connection.

          Thanks

            @diego

            its not implemented and likely very low on the list of features to be implemented.
