Duet 3. Probe inconsistancy

My probe seems super inconsistant. Genuine from filastruder. It triggers super high. 12.mm and then I get readings that range up to 4mm difference. Bed is PEI over sheet metal. Painted matte black underneath the PEI. I have used another surface. Same without the black matte and there is no difference. Config.g

Do any of the bits and bobs on the IR board look like they've been moved out of place at all? 14mm trigger height seems odd.
