      hi,
I am using a toolboard extension for my extruder.
But when I need to configure the driver I don't now what I need to do.

      I tried this:

      M569 P"121.drive0" S1

but the entire extruder disappear from the web control interface, maybe because the config.json doesn't match ?

Do you now how to do ? I don't find doc on this.

have you tried the duet configurator?
        it generates this

        M569 P1.0 S1 ; physical drive 1.0 goes forwards

@Veti Yes it was my initial config. Does 1.0 means the driver from toolboard ?

okay, this seems to do nothing. I don't hear song from the motor (and it don't rotate).

                maybe the configurator is wrong.

                try 121.0

I will try. Did we need to change value in the config.json file ?

no the config.json is only for the online configurator if you want to import the config again.

                        @chrishamm

That seems like a bug in the online configurator. The wrong canbus address is used.

motor not turning but making a noise is an indication of a wiring problem.
check that the phases are correct and the crimps are making contact.

okay, I check the wiring and now the motor is spining.
But, when it stop spining it make a strage noise like electrical noise or like he is forcing, it is normal ?

send M569 P121.0 in the console.

if it is in spreadcycle that is normal.

no it does not help. you need to follow the guide and try it for yourself which parameter reduces the standstill noise.

did the E-step is the step per mm ?

i am not sure what you are asking.
