      Hi folks,
      I have finished my first black PLA-roll on a huge 24h print.
      I wanted to change to another, but only have a roll of black ABS left, would it stick on PLA?
      Or do I have to finish the print with yellow PLA?

        abs will need different print settings.

        and as far as i understand it it will not bond.

          I agree, the hotend temp is higher. (easy fix)
          But would I need to raise the bed temp?
          The print is already 60mm high, so warping should be no issue, but the bond must be strong enough....

            the bonding is poor. that is why some people use pla for support on abs prints.

              @Veti thanks!
              OK, it's yellow PLA then...
              stupid me, I should've inspected it before I started the print.
