      Hi,

I am out of inputs on my Mini 5+.

Currently connected are a 1 PanelDue, 3 endstops, 1 Z probe, 1 Filament monitor, 1 Momentary Push Button Switch.

I would like to find a way to connect one more push button.

I don't want to use "crash" detection to free up one of the endstop inputs.

Anyway to use a thermistor input to do that?

      Thanks.

      Frederick

You should be able to use a thermistor input or a IOx.OUT pin. If you need a lot of inputs, you can connect a SammyC21 via CAN.

            Thanks for that info.

I will give it a try.

I assume I need to uses a M950 command with a J parameter to specify an input.

Trying that with a thermistor input didn't generate any errors on the DWC console but grounding the pin seems to be resetting the board.

How do I turn an output pin like IO1.out into a input pin?

              Thanks.
