Does active mesh compensation affect dwc jog movements?

The topic is the question - when mesh compensation is enabled are jog movements done from the DWC affected?

While I don't know "for sure", I'd assume that mesh compensation does impact DWC/PanelDue jog controls, simply because the jog controls use the same G1 commands that a normal print would.The only difference is that the "jog" controls usually set relative movement (G91) before G1, while most printed gcode files use absolute movement (G90.)
This could be tested by taking a small piece of paper and folding it in half (so it's about 0.2mm thick.) Then put it on your bed at a specific location (securing it with tape or something), and run G29. After the mesh probing is done, jog the Z up a few millimeters, jog to the X/Y where the paper is, remove the paper, and then jogging down to Z=0. If mesh compensation is working, you should be able notice a gap between the nozzle and bed.

Yes. If the compensation is active due to either loading a heightmap or performing a new G29 any G1 XY moves will take the mesh into account and adjust Z same as it would during a print. Taper height of the mesh is also applied.

Thanks. Now I can do some tests.
My two printers used to have no problem printing large objects that took up most of the X or Y axis.
Now for some reason both of them are exhibiting first layer adhesion problems - the kind of problem I would expect to see if mesh compensation was disabled.
This is the height map from one of them generated by a BLTouch and firmware 3.2.2. The bed isn't as even as I would like but I haven't found the cause. In any case it seems like I should be able to print over most of the bed.
More tests to be done.
