Total noob when it comes to programming and Gcode etc...

That being said I need a lot of help.

      • Ok so I have a Duet 2 Wi-Fi and I've got it as far as connecting it to the DWC.
      • All of my wiring is done because I actually know how to do that and now I'm stuck at the configuration tool inputs. STEP 3.) Configuration (General Cartesian)
      • I don't know what any of it means and its all very confusing. I didn't know I needed my configuration file from my old board or I would've made sure to save a copy.

*Is there a preloaded zip file I can access?

      Here is my setup:
      -Ender 5 Printer (Cartesian )
      -400mm screw (I think)
-Duet 2 Wi-Fi: -Firmware version: N/A. -Firmware Name: N/A. -Web interface version 1.13
      -Thermocouple Daughter Board
      -Thermocouple Type K
-60w 24v Heater Cartridge in a copper block
      -Direct Drive set up
      -5i PanelDue (never been used)
      -Mean Well power supply

Everything else on the printer is stock

      Please Help. Thanks in advance

      -Carson

You're in luck as there is a multipart guide on converting an Ender 3 to use the Duet Maestro. Not exactly the same as yours but pretty close and will give you a better idea of the process., starting with wiring.

Thank you, this definitely helps! Do you know of any links or .json files that have the Ender 5 values already plugged in? If not, how do I measure those values, because I can't find them in the config.h file for the Ender 5 on it's Marlin V1.1.4 board via Arduino IDE.

          Thanks in advance!

@pcnoobneedsmajorhelp we have an ender 5 plus config here which is similar https://github.com/TeamGloomy/LPC-STM32-RRFUserConfigs/tree/master/Ender 5 Plus - SKR 1.4 Turbo - ESP - rizast

Be warned that the wiring to the y-axis at least is a ribbon cable with 6 wires. We've had a number of users who had false positives whilst homing. The fix is to separate the two endstop cables away from the ribbon.

Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is

You can start with the Ender3 profile in the config tool. It's nearly identical.
