      Hello,

I faced a problem with my Duet 2 WiFi Board. It does not turn on when I connect 24V, but it does when I connect it via USB.

My setup: I use Duet with Duex5 expansion board connected, I have 5V PSU
and 2 x 24V PSUs connected in parallel.

So what happened? My printer was operating normally but I decided to add grounding to the bedplate, frame, and PSUs so I did. Then I turned my printer on and started testing max speeds shortly motor skipped the steps and I pressed "emergency stop" but it never turned back on.

I have tested all 3 Fuses and they are fine

Here what it looks like with 24V connected

@nazar looks like you've shorted the 5v supply on the board

@jay_s_uk Thank you for your reply. Is there a way to fix it? And how to avoid it in future?

@nazar it requires a component on the board replacing.
You could feed 5v into the external 5v supply and continue to use the board.
There's also people on here who will change the regulator for you

@jay_s_uk Thank you for your help. Unfortunately, it only turns on when 5V is connected via USB and does not work when connecting via external 5V PSU or/and 24V PSU.

Also, when power it via USB and connect to Web Interface there are multiple temperature readings errors.

I have one more Duet WiFi board so I can replace it but I want to avoid it from happening again. Are there any hints how?

Might help to see a diagram of your actual wiring setup.

Can you get a better lit photo of the board with some close ups in case we can see any damaged components.
