      Hello,
I want to control a stepper motor wired on a Duex/Duet2 system (on E6). I can't find how to do it as it is not on the selected tool (T0).
Is there some GCODE command that can help me to do that ?
I want to avoid having to create some "virtual tools" to do that as I'm building a tool changer machine and I would end up taking/replacing the tool too often.
      Thanks

You could temporarily map the driver to a non-extruder axis and then use a regular G1 H2 move. Does that work for you?

@phaedrux I did that following your recommandation and it works great for the moment, thanks. The problem I have is that I will build a 5 axis machine so if I understand correctly I will soon run out of available axis.

How many axis do you think you will need?

5 axis to move the tool and I will have some tools that will require 3 steppers. I also planned to have a stepper that would open an enclosure
