using gyrometer/accelerometer and conditional gcodes

I found this thread looking at a solution to my magballs failure detection system.
I was wondering if there is any new updates on this 2017 project as RRF3.3.3 is out now. As expected, the problem was waiting for the measurements to settle as any little change might trigger a pause command. I was wondering maybe with conditional gcodes, parameters can be set so that if there is large acceleration on the Z plane and major tilt in any axis for a set duration would be signal magball failure or something like that.
