Hello, I am building an IDEX 3D printer from scratch based on the Craftbot Flow IDEX. Just like the Craftbot, I would like to use a BLtouch for Z probing and a closing electrical circuit with the nozzle(s) and bed to determine the XY offset. The Craftbot uses a hole in the bed that is probed on both sides by the two nozzles to calibrate the XY offset (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDvp8JoAuuo on 2:25).

I have bought a Duet 2 wifi and Duex5 however, I have still only one probe (Z-probe) pin on the Duet 2 wifi that can detect a closing electrical circuit. I plan to use those pins for my BLtouch, but how do I wire the nozzle(s) and bed togther to detect a closing circuit? Can I use endstop pins?

you'd need the XY endstops anyway. The axes need to be homed before calibration, otherwise the tools wouldn't be able to find the hole.

Then you'd have to write a macro to calibrate XY. There are other probes like that in the CNC section, maybe someone has already posted a macro for 'tool centering'?
