Hello guys, Do I need any resistor or diode to the output of the sensor to connect an NPN NO inductive sensor to the z probe?

What board are you using?

Printers: a small Utilmaker style, a small CoreXY and a E3D MS/TC setup. Various hotends. Using Duet 3 hardware running 3.4.6

Looks like you don't need a diode unless your Duet2 WiFi is revision 1.03 or earlier.
