Question about semi automatic thermistor calibration
-
Hi,
I have read this method for semi automatic thermistor calibration.
autimatic thermistor calibration
This method sounds great, I haved a lot of issues for thermistor setup...
I have some questions:
- when guide said un point 4,of semi automatic method that place a jumper, can be undertanded as a wire? I suppose that this not produce a short to ground...
- all process, must be done with duet powered on?
Thx

@peirof If you're asking "can you use a wire instead of a jumper", yes, both are the same thing. Just add it across where the thermister connects, and don't worry about shorting to ground.

thx... and all process, must be done, with board powered on?

You can power the board off when fitting and removing the link. The M308 H# H999 and M308 H# L999 perform separate calibration operations.

No, because Duet 2 does not measure the Vref and Vssa voltages.
