Duet 2 T0 ToolChanger Clicking Motor
-
Hi Guys
I’ve reached out to E3D regards to an issue I’m having with the duet 2 that’s running the Toolchanger
A few days ago T0 stopped extruding filament and the motor of the extruder is just clicking, see video attached
Video: https://1drv.ms/v/s!AkVkL63GMSEogbFICoNqWHNzCyYeZQ
At first we thought faulty extruder motor, we swapped it out but the issue of the clicking motor continued with the new motor, I then wired the old motor to T3 and the old motor functioned correctly, so I then took a working tool T3 and inserted the wiring into the board as if it was T0 and it’s clicks too so I think there is a fault on the board with the motor connector for T0
Any advice would be greatly received
Thanks
Tom

@filamentfrenzy Hey Tom. Sorry this happened, it definitely sounds like a driver failure and you have already done the steps I would have asked to isolate the failure. Please email warranty@duet3d.com with a link to this thread and we will close the loop with e3d to get you a replacement.
