@janjoh I'm not using a Delta, but frequently change hotends for different nozzle sizes and materials.
I've decided to have complete hotend-assemblies prepared with the heatbreak (but no thermal compound). When swapping, I just screw in a new hotend and tighten down with an adjustable Wera Torque screwdriver at about 0.5Nm or so.Using Hermera, but should be equally applicable to the standard v6.
When swapping or hot-tightening the nozzle, always put some force from the wrench on the heaterblock in counterclockwise direction, before applying clockwise force with your 7mm screwdriver/wrench. It's better to unscrew the heatbreak half a turn and re-tighten afterwards, than to screw it in half a turn too far and breaking it.
Proper tools can also make a huge difference, I'll edit this comment in a bit to link my tools, typing on mobile right now.
left to right:
adjustable wrench, torque screwdrivers 1,2-3Nm and 0,3-1,2Nm, screw driver.
above:
1/4" square to 7mm hex nut, adapter 1/4" (6.35mm) hex to square adaptermake sure, that the 7mm hex doesn't have a magnet, those are often too short for nozzles.
3,0Nm for nozzle against heatbreak (in hotend) and 0,5Nm for heatbreak in coldend.
If you want to leave the e3d eco-system, look at dyze or like you mentioned mosquito. -
@fcwilt How do you mount it on the smart effector? Is there another adapter available with M12 thread?

I'm no longer in the EU (sadly), but just off the coast of it and have similar thoughts.
I've contemplated Mosquito on my smart effector, but the 713 adaptor seems the only available (other than printed, and I'm sceptical of that path) and I don't like the import cost. Actually, I don't mind paying import duty and tax - I think tax is a requisite of civilised society - what I object to is the 12 quid handling fee the carriers put on if they have to collect even a penny of duty. I've had deliveries where the handling fee for collecting the tax was more than the cost of goods plus duties plus tax combined.
If there's a distributor or importer of the 713 (or manufacturer of an equivalent) I'd like to hear of it.

@marius-breuer For the sake of argument, let's just state that "grabbing" the heater to hold it is exactly what I want to avoid having to do.
I want single hand nozzle change.

That would be the 713Maker reference, they have an adapter. There is also printable mouunts on thingivere.

The "adhesive" you talk about, isn't adhesive and it is not designed to hold the heater in place. The heater and temperature sensor are prevented from falling out by the heads of small screws either side of the hot block (so at both ends of the heater). IMO, this is a far batter aranegement than using a grub screw in the side of a cartridge which could damage it. The "adhesive" that Slice engineering use is not an adhesive but is Boron Nitride paste which is purely for thermal heat transfer. It has a fairly unique property of being a good thermal conductor while being an electrical insulator.

To achieve that, you need a hot end where the heat break is not a structural element. AFAIK, there are only a couple of such designs which allow single handed nozzle change but it's been a while since looked. The first is the Mosquito (and patent breaking clones thereof), the second is my 6 input, dual heat zone hot end but there is only one in existence and I ain't about to sell it

@janjoh I see. If you can't find a suitable alternative, my solution might be the least bad. You'd of course need more heater blocks, cartridges, thermistors and heatbreaks.
However I found that added cost to be insignificant, given the reliability of my method.
The most important benefit is the ability to have preassembled setups. for example:high resolution PLA

PT100 sensorthese hotend assemblies can be mounted with one hand, just use the 7mm hex and the 0.5Nm screwdriver. Most, if not all, coldends will handle the 0.5Nm without needing a second hand.
To clarify my prior statement: the wrench is needed when you only change the nozzle, not if you change the entire hotend.

So.. I realized that I have a friend travelling US -> Swe in a few weeks.
Guess I'll be getting my 713Maker part yet
