Gcode viewer

In Cura I can walk through my model visually as each layer is printed. I can see a virtual nozzle move about, printing the model. I can see as the entire layer is built but I can also see as an individual layer is printed.
Is there such a thing as a program that shows the same graphical details but also shows the gcode being executed? I would like to be able to execute each individual line of gcode and then see the virtual nozzle move in a graphical representation.
I have a weird issue in a model and need to track down exactly what is happening and interpreting thousands of lines of gcode is not a fun thing to do. I can somewhat narrow things down but it would be a lot of help if I could see the graphical picture of filament being laid down and the source gcode at the same time. -
@jens55 yes. If you enable the gcode viewer plugin:
Then you can use the viewer to see whats happening. You wont see the source gocde in the same screen though
You can see what is going on during a print through.

@jens55 also moved this to the plugins category and tagging @Sindarius in this as the developer. A potential feature would be to show the gcode being executed.

Thanks, I had a look see at the gcode viewer before I posted my question. I couldn't make much sense out of it - it was not at all intuitive. It did seem clear however that it did not meet my code display requirements so I did not attempt to wrap my mind around it.
I am hoping there might be something available that shows the gcode.
