Edit - Nothing to do with the beta, it was a config file oddity that that should never have worked, but did not show itself until I started upgrading firmware/software, for some reason.

The tool pickup problem still exists, exactly the same as with 3.4b4 in my previous thread here:
      https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/25434/firmware-3-4-beta-tool-pickup-problem.

In brief, after picking up a tool, the machine does not recognise it has a tool loaded.

All config etc. files unchanged from those in the previous thread.

@rjenkinsgb can you try it without T-1 in your tpre0.g?

Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is

I've now started again with a new install of the Pi SD card, after flashing the main board and tool board back to V3.3

I put all the config files back on, expecting it to work as it did before I tried the beta versions - but the tool problem is still present!

It's apparently nothing to do with the 3.4 betas.

The only other things I updated whilst installing the beta version originally were the Paneldue 7i and the toolboard bootloader???

          Any ideas?
