      Hello friends.
      Question can we put a 12v layer fan directly? I read yes and no !!!!!Screenshot_20211027_135817.jpg Screenshot_20211027_140011.jpg

        @sgk If you have a 24V supply, you will need a stepdown converter to connect the fan.

          @sgk the image you posted shows a 24V-12V converter being fed into the fan supply select central pin on the Duet 2. this provides 12V on the fan pins.

            Excuse me, I'm a novice, is the mainboard 24 or 12 v? Because when I install fans of 24 it works and 12v also then I am lost.

              @sgk You can power the Duet Board with 12V or 24V...
              It's depending on your power supply.

                @cosmowave OK, thanks.
                But then why when I plug in a 12v and 24v fan both work.
                I have a 24v output power supply

                  @sgk a 12V fan may work plugged into 24V but wont last long. a 24V fan will often spin when plugged into 12V but will be spinning much slower.
