When I run acceleration tests using the Duet I got graphs like the one below that shows significant amplitude in a wire range of frequencies:

Looking at the Voron Discord, people that measure with Klipper tend to get more narrow spectrum with a clear winner (for the same V2.4 model)

What can cause this difference? Is it because of differences between Duet and Klipper (log vs linear?) or more because of actual mechanical differences?

@zapta did you use the input shaping plugin to get that acceleration plot? If so, which axis did you select for movement? That resonance at about 35Hz may be on a different axis.

@dc42 , I used the gcode commands from the Using Accelerometers section here https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Accelerometers

Haven't install the input shaping plugin. Is it supposed to give different results?

BTW, IIRC, the plugin release was one of those long announcements that don't explain how to actually install it so I decided to wait for a more supported release.
