T0 Stopped working
-
Hi all, help needed.
My duet wifi stopped extruding with the T0 stepper connection, and I've had to remap to the T1 extruder. I cant see any obvious damage to the driver. This all started when I started getting faults on the pt100 sensor, and had to revert to the cartridge style. I didnt have a spare. The driver 3 reports OK, but when I connect a stepper, nothing happens.

It sounds like a driver failure. How long have you had the board?
-
I've only had the board about 6 weeks. I bought it from Filastruder.
-
Was that M122 report was done with the extruder connected to E1? if so, please do another one with the extruder connected to E0 and extruder mapped back to E0. The OK status suggests that the driver hasn't been commanded.
-
I had a stepper attached to the driver, and config setup was for two drives. I have run the m122, remapped and with a stepper attached to D0 and D1, the results were the same.
-
Also, do you know a way from stopping the wifi dropping out. The printer is only about 15 feet from the router.
-
Regarding the driver, please ask Filastruder to repair or replace the Duet under warranty.
Regarding wifi dropping out, see https://duet3d.com/wiki/WiFi_disconnections_and_AJAX_timeout_errors.
-
Thanks for your help, I thought that must be the case.
-
I must note a correction. It was more like 11 weeks from the time I received the board, and when I raised the issue with filastruder. With was by no means an attempt to mislead. Nor did I think I would benefit from the genuine mistake, as I thought it might be a config/firmware issue after seeking advice from filastruder.
-
No problem.
-
Hi dc42,
I have been advised buy Filastruder that I need to deal with you directly, as I live in Australia.
-
Hi Matt
Normally we would replace your Duet direct from the UK but won't be able to do so this week as we are at the TCT Show in Birmingham displaying our products. I will ask Filastruder to send you a replacement.
-
Thanks that would be awesome.
