duet2wifi in access point mode and node-red
-
just wondering if it is possible to use AP mode connected to a PC and still have it communicate with node-red? will node-red have to run on the the same PC locally? i just cant for the life of me get my D2W working over my home network like normal. i would also like my PC to still be connected to the internet. i have a second wifi adapter connected to it to run dual wifi. one for the D2W and one for my home network however i do not know if there is a better way.
things i have done so far:
1)reset linksys velop mesh router and setup it up like new.
2) created guest wifi to keep just duet and PC on the network and everything else on main wifi
3) moved a mesh node 10feet from duet board with no obstruction.new SD card:
- bought a brand new sandisk 32GB class 10. formatted using the recommended SD formatter as instructed (the long way).
- used configurator tool to auto populate new config.zip files.
- extracted content to the card
- popped card into the board
result: only works in APmode like it always did.
