      HI, all,
After building 4 printers with Duet family of boards (wifi, duex, paneldue, duet 3 etc)
I am planning to use duet wifi with external drivers for automatic drill operation for Alu extrusion 6 meters long . I wil repurpose old universal milling machine with the drill head
      I will control 2 axis
-Z work feed for drilling using nema23 on the drill head to move about 60 mm in and out the part
      -X to move 400mm ( parts have 150,200 and 300mm step)
2 set of pneumatic clamps , 1 set fixed and 1 set riding with the X axis
This is ok and I know how to set it up
The machine will also use panel due
But I was wondering if and how I can use external switches, I will need at least two: START and STOP program
I am not aware how to set this with DUET wifi
      Any Ideas?

@martin7404 yes, you can do this. Just set them up as triggers using M581 https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/M581

@jay_s_uk Ok , but how to make them Start command.
The operator is not going to be qualified enough to use paneldue 😉 for starting JOB

@martin7404 use M23 and M24 assuming its the same file over and over

when trigger (START is pressed) ON to strat the program with M23
I have to make a macro of some sort I think?

              P.S I see now trigger#.g
