SD card reader not working

Hi Duet pros,
I was installing a new Duet3 mini 5+ wifi. I couldn't connect to the DWC or update the firmware normally. I was able to update to R3.3 over USB, but I still couldn't connect to the DWC, I got a 404 error and I was told I needed to make sure the correct file were in the www folder. I did that. No change. I made sure all the correct files were on the SD card in the correct structure and I tried to update the main firmware again using M997 S0. It said it couldn't find the files. I tried to update the wifi server using M997 S1 - same response. I checked the damn card again. It was correct.
Connected over USB again and ran M122 and no SD card was detected. I did not plug-in an SD card extender or anything. Only the SD card that came with the board. But, maybe it's a bad card, tho it works fine on my PC? I reformatted via the instructions on the DUET knowledgebase, I even used the SD card formatting software that was recommended. Loaded the files back on. No SD card was not detected.
I tried another Sandisk SD card that was in use on another Duet board. That card was not detected. Reformatted that one just in case. No change.
So, anything else I can try or are we pretty sure the SD card socket is bad?
