      I'm using the Duet3 MB6HC to control my KillerBee 1075, which has TR8*8 trapezoidal lead screws, yet this option isn't available.

      As I'm completely new to this and terrified of making any costly mistakes, should I use the 'Custom' option and set the pitch from the information I've gleaned from RatRig's website, please?

      Thank you.

        For TR8*8 you should be able to choose custom and then set the lead to 8.

        Or you can use the formula to confirm:
        Z_steps_per_mm = (motor_steps_per_rev * driver_microstep) / screw_lead

          Brilliant, thank you @phaedrux.

          Just some clarification, though, please. Are you saying the lead should be 8 because the TR8*8 has a pitch of 2mm but 4 has start points (if my terminology is correct).

          Thanks

            Yes, it's the lead that is important.
