Hi all. Im trying to get the tooboard to work with the duet3 board. I had it working when I used a normal telephone cable about a metre long. however that was for testing. I actually need it at approximately 3 metres. I uses a normal phone cable but didn't work. Then i tried making my own twisted pair wire attached to a rj11 connector but that didn't work either.

Im getting continuous green and red flashing leds. Im on RRF 3.3

ok so apparently i had a miswire. I've got the red led to flash in sync with the main board. but I have to 4 wire fans connected to it right now and they're not turning on. on the shorter wire I had them running. is there any way to tell if the board is fried?

@ravs99 i accidentally had a ground pin of a second 4 wire fan attached to 5V instead of ground. would this have damaged the board?

            Are you seeing any problems?

Yes, if the current through the fan was greater than the current drawn by the microcontroller from 5V, then the 5V rail would have risen above 5V and may have damaged the microcontroller. However, if the status LED is flashing then the microcontroller must be at least mostly working.

@phaedrux yeah the heater outputs and sensor seem to be working but not the 4wire fan pin. i think it must have been damaged when I had the ground pin of the 3 wire fan connected to a 5v pin on the board by accident. thanks for the help anyways!

@ravs99 in what way is the 4 wire fan connector not working?
