    Config.g file for CNC Application with dual Y drives Question

      I created this Duet 3 (latest version) config.g file using RRF configurator in custom mode for the CNC machine I am building. I removed the commands related to heaters and extruders as there are none in a CNC router and the machine only has one fan and that is used to cool the control box. The machine has two Y axis drive motors and I would like them both to be controlled with one end stop. I assigned the second Y axis to the E0 pins and I would like to know if this file is properly set up to control both Y axis with the io1.in end stop. If anyone has any comments on anything else in this file please comment on that as well. Thanks

        You're trying to use the same pin for two endstops here.

        If you send M98 P"config.g" to check for syntax errors it will likely complain.

        If you have two motors for Y each with their own drivers and you want to use them both for the Y axis you need to specify that in the M584 command. Such as M584 Y0.1:0.3 That tells it that Y axis is made up of drivers 1 and 3 together.

        For the endstop, if you only have a single one, you just need to define it for the Y axis and that's it. It will stop both motors when the endstop is triggered.

        So remove this line entirely

        M574 E0 S1 P"io1.in" ; configure switch-type (e.g. microswitch) endstop for low end on Right Y via pin io1.in
