Further to this thread https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/28396/both-hot-end-heaters-go-offline-concurrently-during-a-print, it seems that one of my 3HC expansion boards has a hardware fault. The manifestation is that heaters will go "offline" in the middle of a print. M122 shows a reset - cause: core brownout. So I'm guessing the MCU is bricked. CAN bus communications seem to be fine because this is the first board in a chain of 3 and the other boards all appear to be working fine. This is one of duet's first prototype boards with a known issue that it will not work with any daughter boards (but I don't care about that).

Without going into details, the current cost of living crisis and government broken promises on pension increases, I'm struggling financially and simply don't have the £114 for a new board. So I need a cheap fix. If not then I'll just have to give up on my multi-material exploits or possibly FDM printing altogether.

I'm in the UK. Does anyone have a used 3HC? As long I could drive 3 extruders, it wouldn't matter if it had other faults. Do the Duet guys have any returned boards with faults which don't affect the ability to drive 3 extruders?

Or can anyone do a repair for a reasonable price?

      Thanks in advance

      Ian
