Adding stepper drivers to duet 2 wifi

It is my under standing that the duet 2 drivers have to be the same, if the expansion board is used can TMC 2208 or 2209 be used. I would like to have both z motors driven separately and I think both motors should be moved same type of driver. New to this and have read the duet docs but still not sure.

@garyc they can be used but you won't have any UART control over them, so steps per mm will need to be set with jumpers and the pot will have to be used to set motor current

This is a little out of my league and from what I read uart mode is not available except with duet5 expansion , if I used the duet breakout uart is still not available. I need 1 driver and am trying to come with the best solution. I saw the TMC2660-BOB could this be used or what is the best way to accomplish this and if you know of some good reference reading I would appreciate it.Thanks

@garyc as long as they have SPI broken out that would be achievable.
It's then just a case of wiring to the correct header pins on the expansion header
