Help Duet Expansion Breakout Board install

hello I bought this card to install 3 stepper motor drivers z on my bed but I have trouble understanding because on the duet site they also talk about the duex 5 or 2 card I am lost it is possible or not to have 3 motor with this card?

What duet board do you have currently?

@sgk I mean this board doesn't have stepper drivers on it and the duet 2 WiFi you have only has 5 drivers on, so you can get driver boards that connect via wires to this board and then via the ribbon cable to the duet 2 WiFi.

You need a dueX5 board, if you don't want or have external drivers.

@rushmere3d Ok thank you very much for your help I understand better. Because on Facebook blv mgn cube they told me that I could install 3 Z engines with this shitty card so I bought this card for nothing. Thanks. The duet 3 6hc card has 6 cinnectivity for 6 engine?

@sgk Yes the 6HC can have 6 steppers connected.
