      Hi Ingo
Sound great that you have good experiance of converting the cr-10 to duet board because I am thinking of doing the same.
I havent recieved the printer yet but any day now (if not the swedish customs will grab it :-() . And have a duet wifi floating around somewhere…
But I wonder did you use a paneldue for display or did you use the original display? And if so how did you set it up? If not does it work with a paneldue (4.3") in the original case?
With the wifi, does it work through the case?
Do your printer have dual z-axis steppers?
many questions but would be happy for any input from you since you made this already!
      Cheers
      Per

Thanks for sharing this valuable info. Your goodness is appreciated.

Can you advise on the CR-10S, we have dual-Z screws, how would we configure for that? I'm new to board upgrades. Thanks for your help!

Same, what do we put for the second Z? M569 P5 S1 ; Drive 4 goes forwards?

@knaudler Hi I was just wondering if you had finished your upgrades and so had a full set of configuration files with a bl-touch installed. I have been having a lot of trouble getting it set up and was wondering if you could share your files.

            Many Thanks.

              hi
              no BL Touch yet
in works good without - once the bed is leveled fine - manuel
              it works

              I print some reinforcing brackets
and screwed cr-10 on board (18mm Multiplex or Siebdruck)

not screwed its glued on rubber bumper
              and the board on rubber

I have to look for an holder for Chimera hotend, there I will then mount the bl-touch...
but last weeks it was to hot in HH (28 grad in Room) to make anything with heat 🙂

              and maybe an Bondtech extruder...

                hier meine neue config.g - s.u.
                new config.g with BondTech Extruder

(bin zu faul zum Übersetzen - use https://www.deepl.com/translator if you want)

                CR-10 mit vielen Änderungen:

                • Mechanik verbessert
                • Verstärkungen/Winkel am Rahmen new

                • BondTech Exruder new 🙂
                • Swiss Nozzle (an original Hotend) new
                • Maas SPS-350-ii (30A/15V)
                • Magnetwechselsystem new 🙂 :

                .
                .
                .

                • Dual Extruder - Chimera Hotend

                .
                .

                @dc42

                • with BondTech Extruder (3:1 or 4:1 ?) max Extruder Speed is 61mm/sec ? (max
3700/min) - on 4000mm/min the Stepper gets loud
before I used 80mm/sec (max 6000/min) with no Problems (for fast retraction)
I'm on 15V with original CR-10 Nema 17 (need 24v for more speed?)

                • could an MQ2 Smoke/Gas sensor work with Duet, for Emergency Stop or Macro for Smarthome Wifi Power Socket shutdown ?

                • and whats about an real Emergency Stop BUTTON
                  connected on Duet ?
                  like on Renkforce RF2000

                Thanks

                      original Case is in trash

                      using this:
                      https://www.thingiverse.com/make:513929
with noctua fan (the very silent adapter) outside

                      it fits under the CR-10
the good Powersource is under the Table
                      with SSR and Fuses

According to the docs interpolation is ONLY supported at 16 micro stepping. I have a .9 stepper on my BMG, and I had to go to quarter stepping to stop skipping steps. Max extruder speed seems to be 900 for me, and I'm using 1200 on motor current. It's a genuine E3D 1.5 amp .9 degree pancake stepper (core XY).

I know (no interpolating) on more then 16
                          but 64 works good
                          60mm/sec extrusion works
have a little overextrusion (needs new calibration)
                          using 1.8 Motor - normal nema 17 from cr-10 - with 15V
I think pancake and 0.9 there is less torque
