no (original Case)

last night my CR-10 gets upgrade to DuetWifi

first the Duet needs FW upgrade…via SD an PC...
(comes with old FW)
then I'm creating the config via reprap online config

for Molex Connectors you need a Tool for Crimping
looking amazon (DE): IZOKEE Crimpzange
works good for this cheap tool

the Duet fits into the original case of CR-10
without Display - mounting duet board with ca. 3cm distance from case, for air flow
using the 2 Case original case fans parallel
(using PWM Fan Port 3 - needs other PWM Frequency ~ 30Hz on 40% - so duet remains below 30 degrees)

for Bed using original Mosfet from CR-10

raise up Voltage on Powersource to 14.4V - works
(more Power )

first Test:
I'm using demo config files for prusa from sd,
then overwritten with data from config tool (zip)

I need to switch direktion for x, y Motor
Endstops working

in Bed conf there was a failure with Z define 2mm to low - correctet to 0
(I'm still work without autolevelling on CR1-10)

using 16 microstepps with interpolation for x,y,z
using 32 microstepps with interpolation for E

Test…with 100mm/sec - silence !
really silence - great

now i can hear the bad chinese ball bearings !
there is one bad bearing on Y

the fans are the only loud sound
very smooth printing

and testet...150% works...200% works
I let the printer print at 300mm/sec ! - with PLA
(needs 230 degrees and 150% extrusion - not nice, but works with original Hotend)
but up to 200mm/sec would be ok for Vase Mode

my CR-10 mods:

• Bed isolation - silcawool (stoutwind) 300x300
  (sealed with a lot of Kapton)
• more Voltage - 14.4V
• Fan Mod thingiverse : www.thingiverse.com/thing:2274499
  (bridging without any problems)
• Case fans, Hotend fan and Parts cooling fan on PWM Ports
  (Hotend Fan working over 45 degrees)
• BuildTak direct on ALU-heatbed (glass plate is too heavy for high speed)
• extra Car Fuses for Board (10A) and Bed (30A)
• CR-10 case and frame grounded

streaming in local network, from there with obs to switch or youtube

on e3d you get 30 and 40w heaters for 12/24v - ca. 5,-

maybe it would be good to use a thermal fuse
280 grad / 10A
directly on the hotend, this will cut the power to the heater
(you have to crimp the cable)

and same on heatbed 4x thermo fuse (4x10A parallel) with 140 grad
so it will cut off power without elektronics

works good - fast heating
12v Fans working - using 80-90% pwm

Hi, can the pwm output be damaged by a capacitor ?
for my blower fans I also had to try around a little with the PWM frequencies
with 30Hz it works good for me

I'm using 30Hz with 2 Blowers
M106 P0 S0 I0 F30 H-1 ; Bauteilkühlung mit 2 Blowers parallel, daher 30Hz PWM
works good

I already had your idea, you just have to know if it doesn't hurt the board ?

I know (no interpolating) on more then 16
but 64 works good
60mm/sec extrusion works
have a little overextrusion (needs new calibration)
using 1.8 Motor - normal nema 17 from cr-10 - with 15V
I think pancake and 0.9 there is less torque
