Duet 3D MB 6HC can't connect (status LED dim)

Raspberry pi can't connect to Duet 3D mainboard 6HC. When plugged into a different Duet board, the pi has no issue connecting and runs as normal. Tried different pi, power supply, and even trying to connect to a pc. When connected to power the status LED doesn't blink like normal but is dim and constant. Any suggestions?

@bastacy That is the situation if the firmware on the board has been erase. Please try and follow this fallback procedure to use BOSSA to re-install the firmware:
