@Willnk can you connect via USB and see what firmware version is reported by M115?
-
@jay_s_uk yep,
-
@Willnk wow, that's out of date. It may be quicker to just bossa the board up to 3.4.4
-
@jay_s_uk yep but I can't acess the duet Web to do so
-
@jay_s_uk or can you update firmware from the sd?
-
@Willnk you can update from the SD card. You'll have to put the files in the sys folder and use
M997
If you can't get that to work use bossa https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/RepRapFirmware/Updating_firmware#all-other-duet-boards -
@jay_s_uk thanks
-
@jay_s_uk so just download the 3.4.4 firmware onto the sd in the sys folder as a zip and when I use m997 it will sort it out correctly?

@jay_s_uk nvm everything works your a life saver

How were you able to resolve the problem? I am dealing with the exact same thing after mistakenly trying to upgrade 2.05 directly to 3.4.4. I've literally tried everything I can think of with no success.

You can use Bossa software to directly flash the latest firmware to the board.
https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/RepRapFirmware/Updating_firmware#fallback-procedure-2
You would also need to manually update the DWC files on the SD card with the matching version for the firmware.
