      Hello,

      I’m trying to connect my BLTouch to duet Maestro.
      I saw that the black and brown wires need to be joined together somehow to the ground pin.

      Please help me to understand how to join them together to a single connection.
      Alternatively, I thought to use an unoccupied GND pin somewhere else, e.g. at the panel due. I believe it will be easier that way. The question is whether it is legit.

      Thanks,

      Avri

        @Avrimo2 You can crimp two wires into one molex crimp. Or, yes, you can run one wire to a separate ground. If you don't have a PanelDue connected, there is one close by on pin 2 of the PanelDue_SD connector; see https://docs.duet3d.com/Duet3D_hardware/Duet_2_family/Duet_2_Maestro#wiring-diagram
        You can also just not connect the second ground wire (either one), and tie it up out of the way so it doesn't short on anything.

        If this isn't a genuine BLTouch (ie Creatlity version) check the wiring loom, as the colours are different. See https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/Connecting_hardware/Z_probe_connecting#bltouch

          @droftarts Thanks!
          I'll just ground it then to the PanelDue GND pin.
          It is a genuine BlTouch BTW.
