      Hi,

I have a Tevo Little Monster, a delta printer, I am planning to upgrade some parts.

Where I can have more benefits? I am thinking in change steppers motors, for ones of more resolution, from 1,8 degrees to 0,9 degrees…

Where is the part I can have more benefits, options:

      • Extruder stepper motor, 0.9 degree
      • Axis stepper motors, 0.9 degree
      • Extruder
      • Nozzle
      • Other...

      Thanks

Does your printer use 12V or 24V power? If you use 0.9deg tower motors with only 12V power, the speeds you can cah achieve will be rather limited. Changing from 12V to 24V power also has implications for the bed heater, extruder heater, and fans.

It's fashionable to use 0.9deg motors for extruder drives now, but if your extruder uses 3:1 gearing or higher then I'm not convinced that it makes any difference.
