Wiring Duet 3 1LC Tool Board to a Duet 3 Mini 5+

Hey Forum,
I am about to wire a Duet 3 1LC Tool Board to a Duet 3 Mini 5+ and have one question regarding power wiring.

In the doc sectiont CAN Connection "Connecting WITHOUT Duet 3 Tool Distribution Board" under Duet 3 Mini 5+ it advises to wire to power supply and have a inline fuse. Can I also connect to OUT 0 of the Duet 3 Mini 5+ and do I need an inline fuse then? As far as I understand OUT 0 is fuse protected, right?

No, do not connect it to OUT1. The OUT ports are switched on the negative (ground) side, so they are unsuitable for powering tool boards.

@dc42 Thanks for the reply. So I will put it directly to the power supply with an 3A inline fuse.
