      Duex5 received today. Fast cuestion, is this ok? Can measure conductivity between the two surface solder pads to see if is attached well?

        Oops, that capacitor doesn't look properly soldered in place! It has two solder tags on opposite sides. Can you tell visually whether they are both soldered down?

            The point of interest is the solder tag and pad on the right, below the C62 legend in your second photo.

            Does the capacitor feel secure if you gently push it to the left and right, or does it rock?

              Afraid to try before ask, i will see tonigth if is secured or not. I have some new friends with advanced electronic skills, can simply desolder and resolder if the capacitor come out?

                I doubt it will come off because the other leg is probably securely soldered. I'm happy for your friends to solder the right hand leg to the pad if necessary.

                  Solved! Yesterday I found an electronic laboratory next to my office. And the boss is a co-worker what talk every day. Desolder, checked, resolder and says it's ok. Now I need to finish the dual X axis for the idex build.
