calibrating z euclid
-
hello everyone could someone give me the procedure for calibrating the z with euclid i have duet 3 6hc probe thank you

Have you already installed a device of some sort to mount/dismount the Euclid switch?
Aside from dealing with that, you set the parameters of the M558 and G31 commands as you would for any other Z probe.
What in particular do you need to know?

@sgk008 It's the same as all other probes. See https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/Connecting_hardware/Z_probe_testing#calibrate-the-z-probe-trigger-height

@sgk008 How is your probe configured in config.g? Also see https://euclidprobe.github.io/05_rrf3.html

@droftarts
can you help me please -
when I follow the procedure
that I run g30 s-1 the head goes to look for the probeWhat do you mean by that? Are you getting an error message? If so, what is it?
Your probe is configured as a switch, so it shouldn't be automatically trying to pick up the Euclid probe. Unfortunately, I don't have a Euclid probe, and haven't used one, so you need to explain what is happening clearly.
My understanding is that, to start with, you manually put the Euclid probe on the mount manually. So the order of setting the Z probe Z height is as the BLV instructions; start with the Euclid probe not mounted, find where the nozzle just touches the bed and set Z0, then (between step 8 and 9) you manually mount the Euclid probe and send G31 S-1 to measure the probe offset.
