      Hi.

I have a big delta build which i want to transform to a ceramic delta printer. The build volume is 600mm diameter by 1000mm height. The construction is sturdy enough for the upgrade but the steppers are not. I have no exact numbers of the extruder yet but i expect the weight of the extruder to be something between 1 and 2 kg and it is connected to a press with a rather stiff/flexible tube. The printing speed will be lower than filament printing but still the inertia of such a heavy extrude will need some sturdy steppers or servos.
I found the isv serie from stepperonline (https://www.omc-stepperonline.com/nema-23-integrated-easy-servo-motor-180w-3000rpm-0-6nm-84-98oz-in-20-50vdc-servo-motor-short-shaft-isv57t-180s) and wanted to combine them with this gearbox of 3:1 (https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005002775269715.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2vnm) Because the isv series gets speeds to 3000 rpm with a constant torque output it would mean that with the gearbox i could have a constant torque of 1.5Nm with a speed of 1000 rpm.

      my questions:

      • Is there somewhere a way to calculate how fast my delta will move at the outer diameter (600mm diameter / arms are around 600mm long and i would use a gt2 9mm kevlar belt with 20 tooth pulley)?

      • Would this be strong enough for moving this head?

      • anybody has any experience with this isv serie combined with 6xd duet 3?

      • i expect that most of the special features of the 6HC board are driver related so are not usable in the 6xd or are they software implemented?

      thanks in advance

      Pieter

Looks like i am not getting a lot of response.
Questions not clear or nobody used integrated servo motors before with 6xd?
