Solved LEDs and Hotend fan stopped working after several years.

I have a Smart Effector V2 connected to a Duet 2 WiFi with version 3.4.6 firmware and Wifi Server version 1.27 running on a delta printer. I have been printing on this thing for several years with no problems (except my own user generated issues). I started it up the other night and as the hotend started heating up, the LEDs didn't come on and the hotend fan didn't start running. The hotend got to about 120°F before I shut the heater down. I don't see any other issues with the effector, it probes the bed fine and shows the temperature as well. Wiring is the first thing I checked and I don't see any issues, so I am wondering where to troubleshoot next?

@sonitrolio The LEDs and Hotend fan run from the same feed, which is the fan header that they are connected to on the Duet, so start there. Try plugging the hot end fan connector into the 'always on' fan header on the Duet. The fan and LEDs should turn on. If they don't, the issue is wiring; perhaps a broke wire or poorly connected crimp, or the fan fuse on the Duet has blown (if other fans work, then it won't be this). If they do turn on, then it could be that MOSFET on the fan header they are connected to has failed.

@droftarts Fan fuse is blown. Waiting on a new one to arrive and then Ill check into what caused that. Probably one of my cheap fans shorted out or got out of spec over time. Ill post after I find out. Thanks for the help so far, much appreciated.

@sonitrolio I couldn't find a problem with any of the fans or wires so I installed the new fuse and everything seems to work now. I will call this one solved. Thanks for the information.
