      This one is for Tony.

When he first heard about my printer his reaction was something like "Blimey - you could print furniture on that thing! "", so thought it's about time I gave it a go.

To save me any more typing, you can read about it here https://somei3deas.wordpress.com/2017/12/28/t-glass-petg-coffee-table/ and\or view the YouTube video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4oljUKE6KM

That's a lot of filament Ian! But sure looks nice, I love PETG surface finish.

one question… does it work? 😃

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is =)

About 670 metres of filament or if you prefer, 2/3 of a Km and it'll take a bottle of wine and some glasses or a few mugs of coffee without falling over or breaking, so yes, it works. It'll likely get relegated to the garden though 🙂

That's very cool Ian! I like the segmented design. I think that the tglase slow print speed recommendation is at least partly to improve transparency.

Have you worked out how that was done Tony? If you haven't yet watched the video, suggest you do because it might get you wondering….
