Auto Z calibration is always 0.6mm off

I'm using the duet wifi on my rostock max v2, along with paneldue and the smarteffector. Going through the auto bed leveling using 16 points, everything else seems okay… Except when i lower the effector to check, it touches the bed at 0.6mm.
I've setup the trigger heights, and messed with the offset, but nothing has helped. I'll update this post to include the relevant config files.
