      Hi
Just upgraded to 1.21….....I changed my homex.g to this
      ; homex.g
; called to home the X axis
      ;
; generated by RepRapFirmware Configuration Tool on Sat Feb 24 2018 12:46:55 GMT+0100 (Central Europe Standard Time)
      G91 ; relative positioning
      G1 Z5 S2 F6000 ; lift Z relative to current position
G1 S1 X-305 F1800 ; move quickly to X axis endstop and stop there (first pass)
      G1 X5 F6000 ; go back a few mm
G1 S1 X-305 F360 ; move slowly to X axis endstop once more (second pass)
      G1 Z-5 S2 F6000 ; lower Z again
      G90 ; absolute positioning
so I added the S2 to the Z movement. I have to independend z motors , 1 on Z and 1 on extruder2. This worked fine until the upgrade. But now the move out of sync and erratic
http://aletronix.com/anycubic/20180328_191143.mp4 sorry it seems the video tag don't work, please copy and paste
how can I fix this? what changes in the firmware am I not aware of?

And is there a way to downgrade? I hve tried the old DuetWiFiFirmware.bin but I get an error messahe that it expects the combined bin

Does it behave like that when you try and move the Z axis all the time, or only when you try and home x?

Can you post your motor config from config.g?

It seems that somebody else in this forum had the same problem…Dc42 knows about that.I suppose he's looking into it...I downgraded and will wait for a fix....

I am not aware of anything in this area that needs fixing. Please post your config.g file.

                  HI
Is this a bug or do I need to reconfigure something to get 1.21 to work with 2 independent (z and E1) motors/drivers

I can't see any problem with your config.g file. My guess is that only one of the Z motors has switched from x16 to x64 microstepping. Does it help if you re-send the M350 command again later in config.g?
