PanelDue v2 7" - cant connect

I have the paneldue 7" v2
I downloaded Bossa 1.8 for windows and the latest firmware but
when i plug in the panel due to my windows PC it does not show up
I reset it and it does not show up.. in device manager at all.
powered it externally and via usb no difference -
Did you hold the erase button for a second then hit reset?

You may need to remove the PanelDue controller board from the display before programming it, because typical USB ports can't supply enough power for the 7" display.
