I've had the probe performing wonderfully for about 2 weeks on my build and suddenly, today I'm having problems. I've tried to re calibrate a couple of times, but once I start a print after going thru the 4 point probing that I have set up, I have extremely too much nozzle to bed spacing and nothing will come close to sticking. Even when I do an initial home on Z B4 probing, the distance isn't right. I could probably stick 10 pieces of paper in there. Could sure use some insight.

If it's the version 1.1 probe with through hole IR LEDs and phototransistor, it could be that they have collided with the print and been bent out of alignment, causing the trigger height to change.

I've got version 2 with improved components and pre soldered dupont pins. It worked fine on one print, then changed filament types and troubles began. While re-looking at this, this morning, I notice my M558 command looks like this-M558 P1 X0 Y0 Z1. I'm using my probe for Z axis homing and bed probing only. Is this line correct? Should the Z1 be there?

Okay, I seem to be back on track now. Hopefully.

Yes, the Z1 means that you use the probe for Z homing.
