      Hi,

      I have read the the M208 command does not apply to deltas BUT I see a M208 S1 Z0 in my config file.

      Does that make any sense?

      Thanks.

        @fcwilt have a look here:

        https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Calibrating_a_delta_printer#Section_Measuring_the_trigger_height

        That line is limiting your movement in Z to Z = 0 (which is generally a good idea, you don't want to be able to command your printed to bury the head in the bed!

          Hi,

          Thanks much.

          I will have to read the referenced material more closely as a quick scan didn't reveal if that command is essential for normal operation or not.

            The M208 minimum Z value does apply to deltas. The M208 XY min/max and Z max values don't.

              Thank you.

              That is just what I needed to know.

              Perhaps a note should be added to the G-codes documentation explaining this.

                  That's great - perhaps other confused folks like me will find it helpful.
