Polar 3d printer info

Hi Everyone, firstly i'm not going to pretend to be an expert but i have some simple questions that i'm really hoping the user group can help with.
with regards to polar printing, i see that we can set the board to polar style printing, which is great but does this mean that the slicing application needs to export co-ordinates in polar form or Cartesian (x,y,z) form?
if polar does any one know of a polar slicer application?
any help and advice would be fantastic.

A slicer doesn't need to know the printer type. The printer's firmware takes care of this.
