My DWC and PanelDUE displayed PWM fan speed seldom, if ever, agrees with the Simplify3d programmed value - except when that value is zero. The speed does increase/decrease at a commanded layer but not necessarily to the value requested. I have both fan overrides enabled and they probably have some effect. I haven't characterized this problem comprehensively but I know it is somewhat goofy.

The fan speed commanded by S3D is not the fan RPM, it is just a value between 0 (off) and 255 (maximum speed) to indicate the PWM fraction to use.
