AC vs DC Ground?
-
This really isn't a duet specific question... it's more of a general "best practices" question for wiring DC electronics with an AC power supply.
I think I remember reading (but can't find it now) where someone said that when wiring the duet, the A/C "ground" terminal from the PSU (AC Ground) should be shorted with the PSU's DC Negative (DC Ground or DC-) terminal and the printer chassis (and stepper motor bodies, etc.)
Is this correct?
Thanks

Yes that's correct.

AC ground and DC negative should be connected together at one point. The PSU terminals are a suitable point, but not the only possibility.

Worth checking your specific PS. Quite a few have the gnds connected internally already.

...others also have filtering circuits that would be shorted out by linking DC and AC ground?
