      I know if you increase the speed, the print will go faster, but does it have any effect on the max acceleration, velocity, and jerk? It would be nice if the acceleration and jerk remained fixed and the velocity was allowed to increase (be overridden).

        I believe the jerk and accel, etc all stay fixed.

          @phaedrux how close to "absolutely sure" is that "I believe"?

            Call it a hunch? 😀

            Changing accel and jerk has more implications than just overall speed, so I'd be surprised if they were altered by the speed factor.

              @phaedrux I wouldn't be surprised either way.

                Changing the speed factor does not affect acceleration or jerk, and the speed limits set by M203 are not altered. All it does is to apply the speed multiplier to the F parameter in all G0, G1, G2 and G3 commands except in a few cases such as homing moves.
